Our Patron Saint – St. Francis of Assisi

St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of our school, is a shining example of humility, simplicity, and love for God’s creation. Born in Italy in 1181, Francis renounced wealth and worldly glory to follow a life of service, peace, and compassion. His deep love for nature and every living being earned him the title “Brother to all creatures” and made him a universal symbol of harmony and fraternity.

Renowned as the Herald of Peace, St. Francis carried the message of forgiveness, kindness, and brotherhood wherever he went. His timeless prayer, “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,” continues to inspire people across cultures and faiths to live with selflessness and love.

At St. Francis School, his values form the foundation of our mission. We encourage our students to cultivate simplicity, service, respect for all, and care for creation, following the example of our patron. His life reminds us that true greatness is found not in wealth or power, but in humility, compassion, and the joy of serving others.

With St. Francis of Assisi as our guiding light, we seek to nurture generations of students who are not only academically excellent but also deeply rooted in values of peace, responsibility, and universal brotherhood.
